CAVITE-LAGUNA EXPRESSWAY PROJECT VIDEO PRESENTATION

The Cavite–Laguna Expressway (CALAX) is a proposed expressway that will cross the provinces of Cavite and Laguna in the Philippines. The construction of the four-lane 47-kilometre-long (29 mi) expressway will connect CAVITEX in Kawit, Cavite to SLEX-Mamplasan Interchange and will cost an estimated ₱35.42 billion or US$787 million. When constructed, it is expected to ease the traffic in the Cavite–Laguna region, particularly in Aguinaldo Highway, Sta. Rosa-Tagaytay Road and Governor’s.

PROJECT STATUS:

* Updating of Parcellary Plan for sections with revised alignment (San Miguel and ACM Homes Property) for approval.
* 65% of total affected owners for section with final alignment served with letter of notice.
* On–going consultations in the barangay level and stakeholders in Cavite and Laguna regarding ROW and project alignment.
* Conceptual Engineering Design (CED) was submitted by MPCALA last November 10, 2015.
* Preparation of Detailed Engineering Design is ongoing.
